Salon Update (12/20/21)

Hi Salon Family,

I will be returning from maternity leave next month. Yay! I can't wait to be back.

I have been very busy with Delcan and baby Caleb but stepping away from the salon gave me chance to explore some of the new things going on in the industry. I am looking forward to introducing you all to a new product line that I have discovered. I will be debuting more products from an amazing company named Davines. They are focused on creating sustainable beauty products. Their manifesto is:

To take it one step further they have been a certified B Corporation since 2016. Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. It is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.

I can't wait to share all the amazing products they have developed! You will still be able to purchase UNITE Products using this link. It is also located on my homepage.

Just a few other updates:

  • If you are showing any signs of illness please contact me to reschedule your appointment. I will do my best to get you in ASAP.

  • In order to reserve time for my existing clients, I am keeping the online booking disabled and will no longer take on any new clients.

  • My calendar for January is booked up, as many of you were pre-booked. If you still need an appointment please feel free to reach out via text (925) 667-6623 and I will try my best to accommodate you!

  • There has been a rapid increase in costs across the board and I have updated my service prices accordingly.

  • When you arrive for your appointment please text me or let our studio manager at the front know you are here to see me. Our lounge is open so please come in and enjoy a beverage there until I come to greet you for the appointment.

As always, thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope you are all doing well and I wish you all a happy holiday season!

Best,

Whitney

"By creating “beauty” we want to encourage people to take

care of themselves, of the environment in which they live and

work, and of the things they love.

Meanwhile, sustainability deals with the responsibility we owe

to ourselves, the people with whom we work, our customers,

and the world in which we live and operate. "
